I rack my days out from the hair.
I have on my mac with Final Cut Pro on quicktime. mov created, which will be run on both the mac as synonymous to the pc.
on the mac it looks almost perfect. if I file now on the pc open with QT, I see artifacts without end.
I have already provided the original film with 100ten different compression / settings and still have the same prob
on the mac, I have QT 7.1 on the pc 7.0.3.
But since I have used previously common codecs, I can not imagine that it is s.QT.
jmd if I could do so in a tip would be delighted, because I run out of ideas.

you can in the settings of the Quicktime player to distinguish between high and low quality. perhaps you have the mac when playing high quality of the videos and set the quicktime-pc-player low quality?

As for a Mac and what have you got for your ne Power PC?
What settings did you use QuickTime?
Then there are a whole bunch synonymous, from an image of up to data rates and audio settings ...

my QT settings are still default always on, I have changed this situation. the more so because that I had the clip for editing jmd and not the one who wants the viewer's future look at any condittions (pronounced settings, codec-download, etc. ..)
I work only for the s.einem g5 videoschnitt was fitted and s.einem pc 3.4 ghz 2gb ram. computational power is available.
I still think worth mentioning that on the pc with the vlc player for mac is no different!
