Hello!
In the coming summer, my wife and I through the U.S. east coast s.der long tours. With luggage in a Canon EOS 5D and an XH A1.
My question about this - and I shconmal what dazuhabe hie rgelesen, but do not find it again: Is it useful or a must this equipment to register?
If so, how exactly does it work?
If someone can find the link should be synonymous, I would be grateful!

For USA, I am not sure .... synonymous is a colleague with a JVC-shoulder easily succeed in their hand ... I can earlier that flights with 2x VX-9000 to Palma de Mallorca with Air Berlin also had no problem. However, it was an explosive trial s.Flughafen due, but only a few minutes.

So I will call at the embassy and the airline in question and as I s.besten my cameras (EOS 5D + Geraffel and Canon XH-A1 + Manfrotto Tripods) can carry and corresponding protocols request. The cams I would even prefer "s.Körper maintain. Tripod comes in suitcases, clearly.
I do not take a laptop with, since you now synonymous data must show that it is stored. That's me too far.

If according to the American Embassy (Hotline) since 01.01.2007 official approach. For controls, you can be required to perform or display data that resides on the laptop there. Are they encrypted (BitLocker, CompuSec ®, etc.), you may be refused carriage. You can then leave again to redeem.
It will also straight in many business and America travel forums hotly debated.
