Infoseite // 1080/50p processing in Edius Neo 2 Booster

Frage von menfisz:

Moin,

I test in the previous version of Edius just programmed for me as editing. I am just only have a Panasonic SD707 s.and. Verm. I'll buy the software the day. There is only one thing that bothers me.

I would like to make all my recordings in 1080/50p, although it just yet, no standard is just synonymous and can not be spent again in the hope that exists in the near future and then identify opportunities. The change in 1080/50i or 720/50p, etc. works without loss.

The problem is that I get in the dual mode of Neo Booster not the 1080/50p material in the player played smoothly. It bothers me because I mark in my scenes player in the clips via in / out days and then simply drag the marker to the timeline. When it here constantly jerky I find the workflow somehow annoying.

What I do not understand is that the 1080/50p material in the Media Player of Windows will be played clean, with no stutter. A performance problem of the computer can not therefore be s.sich (Core 2 E8400 2x3Ghz, 4GB RAM, Geforce GTX260 896MB]. 1080/50i or 720/50p played by the Player of Neo from clean.

Can we speed up the Player of Neo in some way?

Thanks and regards
menfisz

Your PC is 1080p50 in any case too slow! Even with 1080i50 a dual core CPU with 3Ghz is already s.der border.
I advise you to an i7 system - it's running with h.264 and EDIUS wonderfully smooth! :)

To save costs, you can even use the Canopus converter.

that is, but then the same new board, memory will be synonymous up to 8GB, ne cpu = 600-700 ¬

it does not refer to a q9650 quad core?

Antwort von RickyMartini:

A Q9550 is significantly cheaper and can also overclock well, which is very useful for video editing.
However, this old CPU synonymous costs as much as a i860/i920/i930, where i7 is a significantly better performance at the same clock.

The Canopus HQ codec of / GV but this is unnecessary.
