Hello everybody!
I know this topic has been frequently treated, but I can not search despite next ...
At issue:
I have a movie with my SonyDCR-HC39 (characterized in the true 16:9 on) recorded in 16:9. The import into FCE works perfectly. Everything is displayed in 16:9 - the best!
Also, the export as Quicktime movie, including the chapter markers worked.
The problem begins with iDVD. Here do I import the movie (like iDVD sets synonymous brav a chapter menu) and wonder why everything exists as a 4:3? (The theme is, of course, elected ... 16:9)
Solangsam I'm really s.verzweifeln ... I'm just not next ...
What do I need to convert, or otherwise, so that it works?

The problem, I know and have MyDVDEdit with the solution.
Here is the link to MyDVDEdit so that I have with iDVD and with the burning software toast a real 16:9 format right. You can find the tutorial and the program synonymous.

Did the whole thing now tested and it works perfectly. But actually it can not be that the 2 are not together and you can only have other software needs to come to grips with ...
