I've just a lot of 16mm and Super8 get the material for a DVD Low-/MidBudget Digitizing and collected to be.
I am looking for now a third of the sensible things (not high end but well at an affordable price) with a film scanner digitizes.
My questions:
Who has experience with third-party and can recommend?
Get synonymous with no film scanner for cheap providers may usable material?
Which codec does in terms of quality / size / processing sense?
Tend to duck * * AVCHD or HDV.
If possible and affordable ProRes 422nd
Both like to harddrive.

Screenshot requires Flash MWA scanner. The scan with CCDs in native SD resolution. Episode: arge Stair (aliasing), so very little detail resolution, s.feinen lines Farbschlieren (such as sparkling water glistens s.Kanten sometimes green, blue, red, etc.).
Video Doctor in addition has the same Flashscan synonymous nor the good old Flying Spots in use. The picture is recorded with a tube, perhaps first look softer, but in a TV output and more details no Alias | Wavefront Mayaing effects (stair).
