I'm just in search of a tripod for a Canon HV30 and the one of a (future) Pentax K200D to others.
The are two different heads hermüssen is already clear, the question is in what combi ...
One reads so much good about the Velbon DV -7000, and the Manfrotto 190xProB. Can Manfrotto synonymous to the head of the DV -7000 assemble, this is better than the Manfrotto 700RC2?
I ask because I think the Manfrotto 190xProB better adjustment of the like, but you much good over the head of the DV -7000 reads synonymous and this is about 30, - Euro cheaper than the Manfrotto 700RC2 - which indeed synonymous no real fluid head seems to be (Teflon discs?)
Would be glad if someone might be Tripods and knows what to say ...
PS: Which photo head I suppose I will look later;)

unfortunately I can not help you but I need a similar combination of video and photo. Is there really an All-In-One solution to the Mix operation - Photo and video you need, or have two heads, which you can then of course with itself must lug around?

So, I have now for the Manfrotto 055XPROB decided, since it is slightly larger (total height) is synonymous and yes something should be stable.
Only remains the question about the Video Head: Velbon-PH368, Manf. 700 RC2 or 701 RC2?

Something like, I have actually synonymous sought, the question is I always think how high the demand s.die created photos and videos is.
With Tripod & Camera to my buddy and I on a small scale commercial work (commercials for smaller regional firms), so we have a reasonably capable video head without looking but equal masses to invest - so professional but then we are not (yet);)
For the purely private sphere, I would possibly be the Cullmann 3430 Universal Tripod fetched as it synonymous equal an integrated monopod and a 3-way head, which is already much more smoothly than any cheap tripod ...
Another cheaper alternative as my chosen would now possibly the Velbon DV -7000 with second head writer for the Image section. Here you will hold slightly less adjustment s.Tripod and a little more weight than the Manfrotto 055XPROB. Whether it is through the central spider maybe synonymous is still somewhat stable, I can not judge ...
Anyway, please note that my comments are more theoretical nature, because the DV -7000 Cullmann 3430 and I have so far only in shops in the "touch" to judge - that I have Manfrotto me now almost blind ordered. True statements can I practice until later - but with something so we must now start times ;-)

When I would prefer the weight and how long the whole in the folded state would play a role. So far I have only a small light Alustativ what it is about 50cm long and it is quite easy s.Rucksack can hang. The Cullmann, the already quite close. I will unfortunately something klapprig after a few trips and so what I look again. But I think what it will be of Manfroto.
