Infoseite // 2h Project export loss for the postproduction?

Frage von Moritzk:

Hello Forum,

I want a two-hour Project s.dem I cut straight (Magix Video Pro X, MPEG-2, 1920x1080) export as lossless as possible to edit it in connection with Adobe After Effects.

So far I have "unkompromiert my 5 minute short Project exported to edit it then.
But at 2 hours of material that will not even be possible!

want to store all export about 900 gb available!
It would be great if your like me with the appropriate codec could help next.

Best regards,
Moritz

One should work only with AE only the parts of a project, with the special effects are to be provided - the rest is provided through the NLE with filters and so on.
2h in AE should make for a very tough workflow. Something normal makes no one who uses AE adequately!

On the other hand, you could be the Project in many short sections to export, for example, with 50Mbit / s MPEG2, so that the remains of acceptable use.

Help him but not synonymous next, when the whole video is to get his look in AE (after all, but it could work as appetizers).

@ Moritzk
Take it or Avid DNxHD Lagarith (which is definitely no loss).

Antwort von Moritzk:

Right! Let me give it a complete look and not just certain parts. That has to somehow be possible!

What is "Avid DNxHD or Lagarith" a codec? Where can I get these codecs?
With a new program I would not try it until I with AFX quite well to get right.

How large can be up to the snippets in order to deal with any problems they may afx?

When it's all about the look and not consuming keyframing, which was synonymous not be so wild. ;)

It is a codec:

Thank you!

Well if it is allowed to speak I will give each scene a unique look and I need to adjust keyframes in part by one or the other the look.
And the codec should I use for the Project from the DV to render editing program? ... How should I export the clip then AFX? Even with this codec?

Thank you!

Yes, you can then spend synonymous from the AE AVID leave.

Question is dependent only if that makes sense - for your clip is then ready then you can make it so synonymous render directly to your target format.
* If you do not want to engage in hindsight on the edited version again unkompremierte *

But among us, the project is an entire clip in AE consider a task where I do not even think the AE will swallow the entire 90 minutes!

The Avid codec makes the files synonymous "very high" that could contribute even more synonymous to sample a whole clip.

So I recommend synonymous to work in small sections - that is the clip in, say, 9 - to dismantle this piece and then to work - 18 (5min 10).

I go so now once you add them from the EH only as color grading want.

Thanks for your tips!
I'll probably recommended in several smaller clips to convert, will probably be the best option!
