Infoseite // 3D in After Effects 7.0 - depths for objects

Frage von nikolaus-online:

Sers everybody,

times because I had a question: If I were in After Effects with 3D layers appear to work (as it is now times are 2D) flat. (PSDs, etc.)
Is there a possibility that at least in the Z-level to expand so that they no longer look like stamps?

True 3D is only with more expensive software to work (C4D) but that is not there. : ")

Greetings!

A einzellnes image a 3D touch type?
I do not know exactly what you mean .. You could try to smash-Effect on your level and the first frame by means of time distortion freeze.

Huch. But this is more the sledgehammer method ... :-)
I will try, but it somehow but can not be the solution.

It is about a 2D plane (Photoshop PSD) a bit in the Z direction to broaden ... Looks are not synonymous so great, I guess times, but still better than a level that you are under the door could penetrate ...

You could parse the layer synonymous and always a pixel on the Z-axis move. Then Parenting interdependent with it and then let the show begin;). Should I believe it is synonymous to give an expression.

I have not tried it yet, but you could smash the effect to apply, the spatial depth and then define keyframes s.Anfang and end, so that the progress of destruction simply remains at 0%?

Create text => 3dEbene => positions = expression>

z = (index-1) * 3;
[value [0], value [1], z]

Level 15x copy ready

Markus, since you just respond ...
