Hi folks, I have a quad core with 8Gb RAM (AE CS5). I noticed that the rendering performance with is 1.5 GB / core with 3 cores on a par with 1GB / kernel of 4 cores. Sometimes even a little better. So if I upgrade to 12GB of 8GBb I could feed all four cores each with 2GB.
Can I expect there with about 20% better performance?

More memory never hurts. In your case * could * get it what - but not necessarily.

@ Snaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark I have a car, a four-cylinder. in this car I've built four tires. Each of these must mature a load of 200 n.tragen. It brings something if I make the car easier? Can I expect there with about 20% performance?
Please, at all writes to your config, so that might help a little is synonymous. If you already have a question that is impossible to answer because it simply depends on many factors of turn, but at least post in front of the brain to 1 / 4 power forward. ne but true, I've just forgotten to clean my crystal ball, or I could even see what you have for a computer. ah dammit, you've written, it is a quad core. sorry, with this statement, I would still know everything ...
all you need, I believe, do not reply to this thread ...

The CPU is a Phenom X4 firstname.lastname@example.orgGhz with 8Gb Kingston DDR3 1333rd Now I have considered a total of 12GB RAM increase. Especially with HD projects, the additional memory should still be felt, or should I rather invest in an SSD?
