Hello,
When I have been recently DVX100 camera data (Aperture, OIS on / off, gain) is not, or incorrectly recorded, which means that when recording the data is displayed correctly, but when you play no more.
I could function again briefly reactivate (unfortunately only for a recording), by getting the tape in front and back again spooled had, I suppose, therefore, that the problem maybe with a pollution could be linked (I've already synonymous unsuccessfully tried different tapes ). Picture and Sound, however, are (still) err synonymous and the time code is displayed properly.
What is this problem? Would you the camera into the service, in order possibly to avoid further damage or can I safely next film? A clean checkout, it is better not use it?

Against a modern dry-cleaning cartridge in my opinion speaks for nothing, but there are of course the ghost. It would in any case, the simplest and cheapest option.
The service is synonymous with failure otherwise a good address, because who can guarantee you that the error code on the data remain limited and not suddenly and silently in the midst of a major recording on Picture and Sound as well? - Previously, I would, however, the cleaning cartridge to try.
