At least in America, the AG-HMC40 is now instead of the original 3199 U.S. dollars for 2295, - U.S. dollar offer of Panasonic.
Whether that is so synonymous in Germany?

In Europe, Panasonic makes its own pricing policy and a strong yen more expensive one years since popular camcorder. Why in the U.S. the consumers get better lit Prices here in Europe no one really register. However, there are the registry 36 months Manufacturer warranty synonymous with pick up service. Perhaps, this service makes the difference.
