Infoseite // AGP graphics card for HDV (720p) averaged under Liquid Pro?

In all the hardware requirements for Avid Liquid 7, we read that the average of 720p HDV material AGP8X card is proposed. In contrast, 1080i PCIe cards to come. How come?
Since I am just an average PC wants to put together ProHD to cut and I can hardly find a motherboard that supports AGP8X, I wonder now if I simply do not PCIe it.
Does the possible problems bzww. Speed loss?

"About a PCI-E x1 interface can be 250 MB / s in each direction, or combined 500 MB / s s.Daten transmitted. For comparison, the AGP 8x interface is only 2.1 MB / s in the second."
