geschumpfen is always on the AVCHD.
Would not it be possible to the source material without loss of quality eg HuffiYuv or Lagarith to convert, then with "smart rendering" without loss of quality to process and then "gently" (ie with almost imperceptible quality loss) after H.264/AVC-MP4 (eg with Nero Recode) to convert?
That should work but is not it?
Moreover, there is but meanwhile AviSynth filter for HuffiYuv and Lagarith.
Has anyone ever tried, or must I re-ran as a guinea pig?
