Infoseite // AVCHD export for PC multimedia

Frage von spectris:

Hello!

I use the Canon HF100 (pictures with 1920x1080) and Magix Video Deluxe15 plus.
The mts files I can with my Q8200 quad core without any significant problems native edit (without conversion to mpg).
The finished film would like to then export to my NAS to the video on my multimedia PC (Asus barebone) to watch a plasma.

Magix offers so some format for the export of (avi, mpg, mov, wmv, etc. ..)
The best quality I achieved with wmv (V9).
However, the result is not true with the superior HD quality (Camera s.Plasma directly connected) to compare.

My question (s):

Has anyone experience with the AVCHD export to a video file?
Which format or program do you use?
Is it only possible with the Bluray HD video with the HF100 "loss" to the plasma / LCD to be?

've Found this thread, but was unfortunately not wiser ...

I make my films as AVCHD files to standard DVD. As your player m2ts no. Files can play, I would as an alternative after MPEG2 1920x1080 render. MPEG2 files, your device yes. the problem will be. Your player has an HDMI output? Can the graphics card the format correctly rausgeben or he must convert it back. These are all questions that I can not answer because I do not know the output device.

Hello Bernd

Thanks for your answer!
My player is an Asus barebone (AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.9 GHz, ATI Radeon HD 3200 with HDMI output)

Have 2 Resolutions 1280x720 and tested with XBMC (Media Center) 1920x1080.
With Nero7 Premium (Nero Showtime) I can mts files of the HF100 and play with windows media player under previous rename to *. mpg. Only because the jerky video (although the CPU is not really busy).

After export through Magix VDL into a wmv file, it is possible to play redundant and the quality better than my old miniDV camera but not the hoped-HD experience.

So if I like you after the video processing in mpeg2 export, do I lose not only quite s.Qualität? But I can `s still try ...

Antwort von RickyMartini:

Export to MPEG2 HD with at least 35MBits. The picture quality is really good (if the encoder which is good). With the media player, for example, these HD video playback smooth and easy.

RickyMartini Thanks for the tip,

forgot my video into an mpeg:
HDV HD2
Video: 1440x1080, 25.00 frames / s, 16:9; Quality 15
Audio: Stereo, 48000 Hz

exported. More opportunities, I Magix VDL 15 not.

The quality is okay so far (not as well as of camera on TV) but not bad. With this format, I have only the problem with Dolby Digital 5.1 effects, but that's another story ;-)
