Video draw purely in Virtualdub
Reduce or make cuts (Save even has tv standards according to the front and end credits of a few minutes)
Then click above on video in virtualdub - select Direct Stream Copy - (The audio is already Direct Stream Copy)
Now press F7 (or above File> Save Avi)
just waiting for some quasi NEN sec. and voila DONE

I do that for over a year with the videos of Save.TV ;-)

Well have fun with your codec packs. Once the metastatic spread in your system, you should reformat.
The DIVX codec you can download divx.com with you (and that should make you synonymous).

.. VD requires a video for windows compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codes, such those used by windows media player, are not suitable.

More than VLC (and maybe SUPER) there is no need to install all the codecs are available.

I had it on my win 7 64 bit system first with the 64 bit version of Virtualdub tried.
After several experiments with codecs (divx Have recommend to install, but I had previously been synonymous), I've finally tried with the normal 32bit version of Virtualdub. Behold: working smoothly ...
