The premiere is when you import something peculiar! (Unfortunately, it may very) little import.
That is, against some AVI, MPG, ... Files streubt is the same as in your case. So you have another video program files in an AVI DV s.BESTEN with bringing format. THAT takes premiere MOSTLY (not always !!!).
Function does in my experience, the throughput of the AVI file with VirtualDub (DV codec). After Premiere likes the file again.
Why such a limited philosophy Adobe goes I do not know. If staying with me any other video editing program so far.
