I have the following problem.
I can at my divx / Avi files only to normal playback or up to 2X speed playback.
I want this but do 4x or 8x.
Who can help me there?

I always play with PowerDVD from Cyberlink.
Also, the MS Media Plav has the same results.
I generally stop looking for a software function of the speed of playing AVI files.

Please Schön! For quick viewing of fresh material, or to look up a particular scene in a 50-minute clip, which for any reason without timecode is / you can not turn out as it is more practical.
Because it really needs no more additional Doofkopp whose imagination is not sufficient to the need to "fast forward" to be able to imagine.

The "quick views" or "Finding a scene" but as you can with the Windows Media Player, the playback position in the search bar (the small square, under the Picture mitläuft) there simply draw or pull as fast, where man's needs. Is that too difficult?

Is that too difficult? This bar is always as wide as the WMP. In other words, depending on how long the video is, you have more or less exactly with the mouse drag. I find it much more practical, fast-forward to the time code einzublenden me back and relax on the paper to make notes blindly.
