Absolute Newb: Movies on your camcorder to your PC

Hi, I'm looking for 1 hour after the response, but apparently are all smarter than me ... : (; Undzwar: I have a camcorder (and Canon MV 690) and there have some cassettes material. This I would now but cut, as some scenes, well, not for the public audience, are made (family):) Have a WinTVGo card with a connector for a cable with a yellow times (; n.wie that means). The same connection is synonymous of the camcorder. Have time now about the camcorder with the TV card connected and Movie Maker started. Have then tries to make a connection, but there is the weak point already: I'm planning as noah. When I click "Capture from video device" is click the entry "Hauppauge WinTV Capture", but ultimately no image. I also want to record not know but play! Please please answer, please please * begging *;) MFG

Forget the cheese analog (; AV output, re-digitization of TV card etc). Connect the FireWire port on your camcorder with a FireWire port in the Calculator. If your calculator Nohat, then you buy a card for 10-15 ¬ and thus helps the film to 1:1 on the computer (; the best quality, lowest number see at the expected problems).

I have the MV600 and is recognized both as synonymous with Win2000 XP easily upgraded via a Firewire card.
