Hello iam really a noobie in Ae7 if i want to preview my effect the green line goes until 12sec not until 30sec that my projectlenght can somebody help me?

Oh yes this is a German forum ^ ^.
So if I do Ram Preview, the green bar only to then tell me 12sec Ae the rendering is finished although my Effect 30sec long.

When I do the effect in the Ramvorschau watch then rendered only 12sec and 30sec not.

The RAM preview renders only as long as your memory is full. It is then up to you in this case is simply not more than 12 Sec. drin. How much RAM preview you get depends on the complexity of the composition and the size of your RAM from.
2 options:
1) Set the work area to the place you are interested, the RAM preview is always s.dem beginning of the work area rendered. So you get not more than 12 Sec. but at least it is not always the first 12th
2) If you have more than 12 Sec s.Stück want to see, you can not with the RAM preview, but need to render the composition completely (or, for example via Dynamic Link to import into Premiere and then calculate the preview)

AE's preview is not rendered to disc but to RAM. Means, the preview's length simply depends on your RAM's total capacity and RAM allocated to AE (you may check your preferences and adjust).
