Hello,
my Premiere freezes after about 10 minutes for 1-2 minutes and then runs again next. After 10 minutes the same cheese etc etc. ..
(The size of the project, but plays no role, since it appears larger and smaller.)
What could be the reason?
Already have my system durchgecheckt, but can not find anything.
Also defragmenting the C-plate and the paging file on a second plate shifting does not help.
My system:

Motherboard MSI K7D Master-L (dual Athlon board)
2x AMD MP 2600 + (Barton), 2 512 MB PC2100 RAM (non-ECC), Matrox G550 Dual DVI, 4-port USB card and DV card into PCI slots;
C: 40 GB disk and 160 GB data disk (both ATA-100, measured about 45 MB / sec.)
Additional RAID-0 (Promise S-ATA SX 4 - Controller in 64-bit PCI slot) with 3x 300 GB S-ATA disks (Maxtor), measured transfer of 165 MB / sec.
Fresh operating system including Windows XP SP 2, nothing else next, installed
Flobby and DVD-ROM drive
Videocaptureing of D9-material on the ADVC-100 DV
Settings in Premiere 6.5 as:
DV - PAL Realtime Preview
What is the solution?
About an answer I would be very grateful!

Hello
Prem did. 6.0 on WIN2000 and XP run with Sp1 functioned perfectly without faults (with removable drives different operating systems). after the update of XP SP2. Prem went there. only choppy.
There was only one uninstall the SP2. Surpassing the record of course, fresh format and on a secured image against the original state of manufacture.
Fingers away from synonymous XP SP2 for other programs are affected.

Only Win XP Pro including SP2 installed, no

- Firewall
Processor utilization is about 1-2% - the bored while.
Hintergrundprogs and Systemprogs I must check. Possessions after reinstalling but nothing changed.
