Hi,
I close my camcorder switched (; VCR mode) open recording mode of Premiere Pro, then I get the message.
"You can not be activated and should be reset."
In the camcorder I get the output to HDV asked. Switch I. I-Link Converter ON everything works smoothly, but I would like the material is not in DV but HDV through play.
In English, I have "Device Control" on PAL / Sony / default chosen.
What should I do?

"You can not be activated and should be reset." The exact same puzzling behavior, we had times with CS3 and the XH-A1. WORKAROUND created the
Firewire connection is reset, which only works if it is disconnected. FW-times from the Cam consider again of DV to HDV output switch, firewire again?. Now it should go.
