Infoseite // Adverse stroboscopic effect

Frage von ulfilas:

Hello,

a few days ago, with me just as undesirable as haesslischer Effect set in my videos.

The following has happened:

When I connect my camcorder via S-video cable directly with our brand new Philips / LCD Television connect, I get a perfect picture, the bargain is still significantly sharper than it ever was on the old Roehrengeraet.

I Capture the movies from this camcorder with Edius 5 and unedited, they burn to DVD, I can on the LCD does not really watch television. Not really, say, the pictures show a very ugly stroboscopic effect, which not only can be seen in the current film, but synonymous with Stillimage. In fast movements (wagging Hundeschawnz, flying Baelle etc.), the moving parts of the image is duplicated. The happy dog has suddenly two tails wagging, and instead of three balls are juggled six.

I Watch the recordings of the same DVD on an old Roehrenmonitor at (from the same DVD player) played below, this effect does not occur. Also in Stillimage there are no double images.

Why is that?

Must be a different render mode to be recruited? DVD Player / Monitor is not in harmony with each other, or why is that?

For any hint I am extremely grateful.

Regards, Wolfgang

When you create the DVD, you have paid attention to because synonymous interlacing? Especially as regards the upper and lower field order?

If the field order was reversed (top field was the first DVD, DV is lower), then that would be more of a jerk out and her movement. Ie movements would constantly jerk back and front.

If the material shows more ghosts, then the material may have been the whole camera-to-DVD process deinterlaced by "blending". Then the fields are zusammengeblendet that for very fast motions are those stupid ghost images shown (and synonymous times a dog with two tails - or are you purely by chance live near a nuclear power plant?).
