In 3D programs, you sowas called "volumetric light", ie visible light, in this case the light.

Last year I had worked in the summer time with 3d in AE - but unfortunately no more idea how to get into the 3D mode.
The only thing I have found is to turn the individual layers into 3D layers.
Edit: I have found through Layer-> New-> Light and there I can sport, punctuality, etc. to select. And when I get my text synonymous to a 3D layer Verwandelung, my simple text only beleutet. But that's not what I want.

Haaaalloooo girls, AE Forum is 2 floors below. Postet but not always in the wrong forum. The video is'n 3D volumetric light, looks doch'ne blind grandmother. For zusammenmatschen AE -> Shape Layer -> Star -> Gaussian soften, add several layers with blend mode and varierte Settings noch'n in the center circle. For the Straheln -> CC LightRays or Trapcode Shine.
