Infoseite // After Effects CS3 - timecode mal anders!

Frage von PixelNr.23:

Hi,

like the title says I have a question about afterfx cs3.
Suppose I have 2 timer running. The One is one normal (hours, minutes, seconds) to the top every time in the 60 seconds is reached, the other timer but a minute to deduct. you can because after effects serve specify an if?

As for me, while still interested in is the following:
When the time code of the separation pay car with a colon indicated, this can be removed or should I say a time code, it is only minutes to show and hide the rest!

Thank you very much!

Everything you need (Universal Counter, Clock). Create 2 levels, correct values, ferdisch. And how you tie things now, it is ultimately your thing, but with if () () else has anything to do nothing.

So next, I would not be a value in minutes. without double points, no commas, no points, etc.

just 30, 31, 32, 33 ... but not as a second every 60 seconds, but will increase the value!

simply left and right show the minutes off the time code.

how do you cut off ... with masks? :)

Because we are in After Effects, it is actually possible at the same time a source code with a word out.
So For example KG always with the back to my post? In Javascript, php, as, html, etc., the so synonymous! Thank you ever been for your help! :)

Basically, are expressions on the basis of Javascript established.
One can therefore almost all things that are possible in Javascript in Expressions racks.
Conversely, in the Expressions properties have been added, designed specifically for After Effects
and dealing with frames, time and After Effects layers, etc. are needed.

Therefore, if you're familiar with JS, it should not be a problem.

as, indeed;)

the expressions with the course is the "elegant" solution, but the masks are handy for those who are too lazy to incorporate;)

Yes clear. AE supports all string methods, ergo synonymous Concatenation works for substrings, characters and convert the whole other Boller.

* * times ieeek always nice when the facts remain. AE Expressions are not full-fledged JavaScript and synonymous JSX external scripts are not. They support only a subset of the feature set, when a fairly large synonymous. And this ominous added "properties" there is not - these are reserved keywords, variables and class functions, nothing else. Properties are in AE what else - things you add a property and the stream is really only true with programming.
