Hello Magixnutzer,
I have bought Magix VDL 2007/2008 and under my Vista Home Premium 64bit installed. Now, I challenge that my camcorder neither Magix Movie Maker still detected. I have a Firewire port OnBoard (Gigabyte GA-57SLI-S4). Before the installation I using Movie Maker on the two videos Calculator copied.
I've tried a lot, bsp. Antivirus off, starting as an admin, etc., and have synonymous after firewire problem here sought. But besides the Council Kabelb exchange, which I've followed :-), I found nothing more in the forum.
Maybe someone knows this phenomenon and can help me.

I have the same problems. Did Vista come down was missed and XP installed. Laüft everything wonderful.

The only advice I give on this issue may: adopt you as soon as possible of Vista and go back to XP! Vista is currently no end of problems, as always, if MS unfinished products on the market raises. Apart from that I know of no reason why it should have, it serves primarily to slow fast calculator to make.
In about 2 years then you will experience with Vista can work reasonably synonymous, previously rather not.
