Infoseite // Anamorphic In Premiere

Frage von Friedo:

Hello together
I would like to create a film in anamorphic format with Premiere (6). My problem is that when I put the camcorder in 16:9 and in an anamorphic project import, the Picture is gerzogen in the Width. I've synonymous After Effects, just before I shrink a handling there because of the bad output results (at least for me) back. Can not be achieved with Premiere that the picture above and below is cut off and is thus brought to the anamorphic format?
Have you ever thank you for the replies!

What did you do for a camcorder?
Perhaps he only takes up 16:9 letterboxed.

Hello
Yes, it takes (of course) Letter to ...
I enzerre the Picture then again in Premiere (normal DV widescreen 16:9). Only I do not know how to distort the picture or next, so it is in Anamorphic widescreen format.

Antwort von Markus:

Hi Frederick,

16:9 letterbox is not really a 16:9 picture, but true-4:3. That you could only turn to real 16:9 (anamorphic put) by you, the Picture "inflating" and adjusts the Höhen-/Seitenverhältnis.

Adapted from Hilfe bei Orientierung:

"... anamorph 16:9 means that the video images are recorded with the full resolution (720 × 576) in the correct pixel aspect ratio (1.42). A 4:3-Television presents a recorded square in 16:9 Anamorphic The Height is stretched:

The "fake" 16:9 letterbox display technique is called, so black bars above and below, to a 4:3-Picture gives the impression of a widescreen image, without actually deliver the full Resolutioneines 16:9 image. This is the "Format" (it is for real 4:3) on a 4:3-Television presented as follows:
