Infoseite // Aperture jump when you rearrange Auto -> Manual

Frage von vonlahnstein:

Hi All,

I had been the SonyVX 2100 and I've now bought the Z5. There is obviously much more technically possible.

In the VX2100, there were following what was always very practical. I was able to complete filming in automatic mode and change (during the recording to manual, Aperture). Then the Aperture has now taken over the current value. From now on, I was able to adjust manual ..

With the Z5 Aperture but may jump at a stroke, not because the current aperture value is copied, but in Manual mode on the modified manual set aperture value falls back .. How can I prevent this? That makes no sense in my opinion ...

Antwort von VCN:

Hello vonlahnstein,
when you film in Vollautomatikmodus and then scolded manual are in fact all the previous values manually reinstated. This means that you get not only a panel jump, it can happen to you that your white balance is no longer synonymous true, depending on the setting. But that was synonymous with the VX 2100 / PD 170 so. You have to decide what the menu had to be left to automatic, or not synonymous.
My tip, but only work with the shutter priority, if you will forward this off (manual) is maintained, then the currently set value.

LG, VCN
