Infoseite // Appropriate forum for the issue of video surveillance / Software

Frage von brad:

Hi,

who can give me hints, where I have a good forum relating to video surveillance and appropriate hardware / software can be found? I am planning a video surveillance on a PC or server-based with opportunities for remote access via the Internet by PC and Windows Mobile Device. I am afraid I am not right with the theme and a matching another forum, I have not yet found.

Who might help me?

Thanks in advance

Hi

You're looking at probably something like the link below. So 4 IP network cameras Vivotek of process. Recording continuously or only when motion. Constantly with 4 Cams you need about 20 GB per day, with a Tera disc you can record as long and oldest ever deleted. Is very small and handy and is naturally protected on the Internet accessible to just synonymous to records. This requires then that is no PC or expensive servers:

Thanks for the tip, but that's not what I'm looking for. BTW here is already running a home server with a video monitoring, synonymous when this solution is not absolutely necessary. Much more important to me is the remote access through Windows Mobile. Currently the works already, I can of all the cameras on live on my Pocket PC to retrieve. My only problem is that I am now a new Pocket PC growth had (Windows Mobile 6.1) and the existing software it no longer runs. And since my camera and the PC card is already over, now I would like a completely new system growth. Unfortunately, the search for good equipment including PC-based software (my NAS synonymous based) including a client for Pocket PC's of the rather meager yield. Hence my search for a forum with "professionals" in these things.

Good idea, but a service on subscription basis is not the right thing for me.
