Infoseite // Archive of movie files to DVD

Frage von stivi:

Hi folks,
have already found some helpful info on it and the page in the forum, but on this question, was the jungle s.Threads unfortunately too tight.

Following problem:

I have about half a year before I bought a camcorder and filmed so hard. Then I got the files on my pc Magix captured and made from the material a little filmchen.
As I have already dubbed the original cartridges, but I wanted to ask how genuine these huge movie files s.besten archived on DVD, in particular ways in which format? Should I simply copy the format, and just pack with winrar, and just in 2 Splitting or more parts, so go up then on a more or DVDs.

That was actually my idea how I could do it.
Now I want to stop, but again ask the professionals among you, how you would do that?

I thank you in advance for your time answers!

Why? The tapes cost so little really, and then what would the question is unnecessary. Now you need to invest more in certain blanks.

Is probably the easiest if you want to retain the original data. By packing but will not lower the amount of data, but it can break easily. Otherwise, you could even compress it with DivX and save as s.Rohlingen by a significant number, then a further while not / hardly / poorly possible. The third and easiest way is (if your a DV Cam - In) has everything to replaying tapes.

If you own the Magix-function "Backup" is used, then you do not need you to pack having trouble with external programs, Magix takes you from that.

You'd have to stop every now and then just copy new DVDs. Moreover, the data storage medium that something small (for archiving purposes, at least when it comes to video files).
