Infoseite // Archiving of AVCHD

Frage von Rolf Hankel:

Hello
Archiving of AVCHD recordings is not so entirely without, especially if like me very much is filmed.
With a folder structure I have on an external hard drive is quite clearly resolved. ONLY ... there is a possibility of a thumbnail to see the clips?
It artet sometimes longer if I am searching from a particular clip search.
At the moment I am so Behelfe a folder in my editing program (Edius 5) to draw then yes I have all the clips as a preview, but the yellow egg vonm is not synonymous.

Did you say something with trying?

In the folder you have to AVCHDTN but synonymous with THUMB.TDT or THUMB.TID scenes for all the thumbnails, because the AVC Thumbs car, at the latest on each IDR, creates.
Nor can I frames retrofitted in IDR's will be converted and thus generate a preview image.

Windows 7 is able to preview images of MTS clips (clips and other transport containers) to create. When Vista is unfortunately not.

No.. But there is a beta version.

Even me, the archiving of AVCHD footage. I wish there was a management tool, similar to iPhoto on the Mac, which I simplified archiving. I have even seriously consider such a program to start itself.

Hi,
I understood this correctly?
You write that the AVCHD files on the hard drive is not sorted archived.

Actually, I had for our vacation before the AVCHD data every day of the SD card to an external hard drive to store:

or

I think after the holiday mix all the files on HDD or can I get them as usual by day and time will sort a day or folder?

Antwort von Magic23:

I think it is synonymous silly that everything is disorganized without a preview image is.
So for me I go in either Motion Picture browser, because the files can be quite fast click
or I go to the time when the file was created.

Is it synonymous with you so that the last 6 digits of the file represents the recording time?

I use the files for my Canon HF100 the included software. The sorted everything by date and time. Moreover, there is for any file preview images.
The software is of but not many, since it is too slow to transmit. 8 GB ca.15Min. but it is all nicely sorted and listed.
The latest figures are the time in hours, minutes,. Sec
