Hello!

Perhaps you can help me so solve this problem:

I always thought capturing via firewire is lossless, but in my pixelated Biltstörungen occur in shades of red, so you can hardly recognize what - no more than a greasy surface ...

The disturbances are already there when you open the raw material in Premiere (6.5).

If one looks at the video of the action via the SVHS output on a good televisions come, the disturbances are not to notice.

Camera: SonyDCR-TRV900E
Capture Card: Pinnacle DV300

The videos were recorded in progressive scan (non-interlaced) and should be saved for s.Computer View as Divx.

Where this is the problem and we can not do what?

I can not really explain, but maybe you find your concern in my post in this thread again mini-dv-player, - and if you can muster anyone who has a Firewire synonymous editing system, ask him a little bit to be able to capture. For capturing, I use the included program "Pinnacle DVTools 1.6" Not even the most recent grad ...

That is exactly what codec uses a good question, but it certainly falls into the DV-AVI Category

Can one use a different / newer prog is doing or not with the card?

On the screen is not caused the disturbance must eindeutg at capturing her ...
