My question is: If I had a very low depth of RESTRICT (1.6) and in front of me is an imaginary box with 50 pillars, each a meter, which is a Camera then usually sharp, when the Picture in the quasi-shot remains?
From the photograph (Eos), I know that so that with roughly one third of the image in the depth had to be ready when the sharpest point plan wants. Is this so synonymous? Use a XL1S ...

The first part: it's a matter of taste of the Auto Focus, and so that one does something usually synonymous manual. Otherwise, just a test. Some models have vertical structures with small problems and times are in the foreground, sometimes in the background sharp: synonymous one reason the AF off.
The second part of the question, can you with knowledge of chip and focal Diagonale even answer. The range of depth of field is not dependent on camera model, but it will apply to any camera the same optical laws. See http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sch%C3%A4rfentiefe.
