Hello, I have the task of the projects I s.dem Mac Avid cut completely on CD-Rom (Only the project data s.sich) and Beta-SP (video data) to be archived. It deals with video data, which I mostly do not have to import of tape. Therefore, my question now, as I s.besten instead. Of course I could if I had to import of Beta, just the project to import data into Avid as a batch and the video data of the bands again capture. But the other way?
Can I re "gecapturete" video with the old video-links "connect"? My idea would be that if I want to open old projects, Avid somehow tell that I am now as footage of the recorded video tape to use. But here is probably the frame number of media data and the time code exactly wants, so I do not know how I should employ.

ps: Simples Consolidate the used media data and archiving of data on hard drive or DVD's for my employer is not in question

I assume that your employer wants to cut any changes to be kept open later - in every other instance is the cut from specific already the backup ... as live videos gecapturete naturally have no time code, so they can nachgebatcht are not synonymous. The solution for the future is to live videos before processing until incorporated band, then there of importing and cutting. for now you have to be master all the clips, the live video was once again hang in a row, tied off to re-restore and cut into your new sequence-cut - sorry, what better, I do not.
