Hi,
as mentioned above, although I film some time in terms of video editing, but I am absolute beginners.
First a few notes on my hardware:
- Panasonic NV GS70 Camcorder
- PC AMD 4000, 2GBRam
- Etrayz as NAS http://www.xtreamer.net/etrayz/features.aspx
- Xtreamer as a media player http://www.xtreamer.net/xtreamer/overview.aspx
Phillips TV 42 "8000 series.
For the video editing is Magix Movie Edit Pro 2008.
My goal:
about the 13GB cut large AVI, edit and save in a compressed version on the NAS, so I can play them on TV via WLAN.
My questions:
1st The 3CCD camcorder is an older device, no HD, but a 720x576 resolution. How do I handle it if I want to watch the movies at 16:9?
2nd Which codec, which format is best? Quality is more important than space.
3rd If the old Magix Video deluxe ever be able to meet my quality standards, or perhaps I should switch to a different software?
4th Can anyone describe a sample workflow?
