Infoseite // Beginners question about an external Micro and external lighting

Frage von Dario78:

Hello,

I am very fond of movies and try to (; hold well, sometimes more sometimes less) important moments. Currently I am planning to switch to HD, and some have already gefassst Cams eye. But a purchase advice to my question does not rotate, but rather fundamental.

On my recent (, 9 years old DV) Cam do I have for "interviews" an external Micro used. On the HD Cams is often a 5.1 Micro installed. What am now intensely interested: I read that there are some 5.1 cams, where a connected external Micro occupied only the center channel (the rest, will surround) channels of the 5.1 Micro recorded the action. For an interview Situartion would be absolutely perfect for me. Is this a rather exotic feature or is it rather the rule? And what is really important for me: I would like to use a wireless microphone, to avoid annoying the cable situation. For example, during interviews in crowds has frequently turned out the cable Stolperfalle. What options are there in the radio? The official accessory mics of the Manufacturer are no radio microphones.

Second question: Some have built-in flash cams and light features. Since I like to synonymous times in "dark corners" films, it was always a little complicated to install and remove when the Zubehörtleuchte Extracting the action in his pocket again. A built-in light (and I think I've seen this in a Canon, because the right was fitted by a mini LED Lens Light) would be super prakltisch, it is enough if the faces are a little brighter, there must be no football stadium ausgeleichtet :-) . On my recent Sonywar the external light so bright that the filmed have always easily pinched, the eyes, which was just too bright and not be dimmed. How is this situation for the current Watched?

I thank you in advance for all the tips and info!

It is probably the case that some AVCHD Cams 5.1 Dolby save a file. To this end, one must know that the ".1" channel is low-frequency effects, typically around 20 Hz, like them installed in such a Cam Microphone could barely register. While you (the enigmatic Effect of annular waves in a water glass, marks approximately the size of the typical micro-membrane) filming, slips of the back of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, which causes the matching vibration to your ear drum a little too big waves here resonates more with your diaphragm (; "Listen with) the belly". The speaker chassis to be bigger than your entire home movies section, there is no subwoofer a home surround system.

Another of the remaining 5 channels is the center. "Center is" not synonymous with acoustic "center", ie it is not the hypothetical midpoint between the left and right stereo channel, but is used only in extreme cases even for surround sound (; of car is going left to right, with a ten - meter-long canvas would be to avoid a "hole", depending on the position of spectator seats relevance of the "C used for the panning). Otherwise, it serves as a position-independent (, so mono) dialogue channel. Should it be so that an external directional microphone actually gets assigned to that channel and the other still add that would be very nice. The standard allocation would be 4.0, except for Atmo completely unusable, and even there you had to watch out now (behind the camera not to betray by teeth grinding, automatic keyword level, the guarantor of ocean waves without the ocean, should be as synonymous with five channels of a "sound engineer be balanced ", and which would place the controls available? bottom of the screen? Page 13, Menu> Camera> Audio> Level 5.1> Channel: LS?).

Finally, the question remains of the post. Assuming that it would cut programs that AC3 sound (; synonymous as such, and with separate channels to import), mix again and could spend what I very much doubt schonmal (; would be inappropriate for this highly compressed sound anyway), it is simply unthinkable that someone who invests in such a camera, puts synonymous many times over in a listening device which would be necessary to reasonably correct assessment.

Forget it. Suitable for detecting a dead rat behind the potato box. Your excited breathing in 4.0 generates a Blair Witch movie theater feeling. Already, some of Codi flashlights would be better!

EDIT: The Conclusion of it I would, regardless of HD camcorder you buy, accept as its sole asset the ability to record a few more pixels than your old DV cam. All other features, so-called synonymous Lowlight, x-times zoom, etc. only contribute to poorer shooting. If your image looks good (; light?) And understand what it says is clean (; ext. Microsystems, like radio, but very expensive), then the gimmicks of no interest.
