Infoseite // Best quality at capturing GR-PD1

Frage von martin36:

Hello erstaml in this wonderful forum.

I own a JVC GR-PD1 and would like to know what is the best mögcihkeit the video on the PC to get.

1) in the HiRes mode and mpeg nachträglcih the signal transmitted
or
2) The signal component incorporated live

I want the quality höchstmöglcihe from the camera to get.
I have no problem with the cabling would be required to live on capture, on the other: how much would a video card with component input and external (for laptop) cost?

Thank you already now.
Martin

Grundsätzlch gives you the tool of small Cature JVC yes the files without losses - is a digital copy, which has no losses.

An analog transmission component could, for example with an Intensity Pro make sense - because it so similar to full-HD upscaling is, and about 4:2:2 Farbsampling could go (synonymous, if one of 4:2:0 material, that would benefit primarily for compositing).

The Intensity Pro is relatively inexpensive to have - but is suitable for any laptop, but is a PCIe card. And it is perhaps appropriate boxes were synonymous.

EDIT: see grade that you "live"'ve written. Here is the question of whether the signal is uncompressed s.Chip over here goes - what if the case would be a very good quality should be. I can not say whether this is the case.

Thank you for serving the first answer.

Lossless digital copy I am aware, however, is precisely the miniDV tape where the bottleneck is compressed.

So I think it would make no sense, I would post the data stored on miniDV via analog component out. As I said in that case yes, the same lossless copy via firewire could fetch.

Now the question is whether I have component output during live capturing the compressed signal synonymous get ... However, I have currently no idea how I can find and have not synonymous with appropriate video card with analog inputs of the test I could.

That would be a dream of course because of the camera chip so effectively 1280 * 659 pixels offers, but down to 16:9 pal is expected (720 * 576 nonsquare) ...

Thank you so far, Martin

That I thought synonymous - until I'm a trial on the component output of the FX1 and the component input of the Intensity Pro've captured.

The picture is better than when you directly to the HDV material via firewire digital and lossless copy. Why? I suspect that the FX1 component s.der full Resolutionanliegt course, the camcorder, the upscaling is done in high quality. And then the Intensity Pro content in full HD and 4:2:2 for the MJPEG-avi codecs of Black Magic captured (or uncompressed).

But perfect is not the way, it should be better, not even the HDV material to compress.

If I had time, I would attach to the PD1 and compare images shot - unfortunately I am lacking the time, we are only late yesterday s.Abend daheim arrived. Maybe yes hats time?
