Infoseite // Bildkontolle in HDV rotation

Frage von Johnny:2:

Hello.

I'm planning a larger rotation with HDV (JVC GY-HD101 / 720p). It is the first time that I work with HDV. I have learned that some camera men are once again resorting to the correct tape measure to measure distances and thus get a perfect focus.
How does your experience in this area? I am looking for a suitable control monitor for HDV (just to control the edge off) - it is necessary or not? Extends a conventional control monitor?

Thanks for your help.
The John.

Hi,

So I work a lot with the HC1 and always put the sharpness of peaking with a function. Here, the sharp edges will be colored red. This already helps a lot. For landscape shots with lots of light (s.Aperture 5.6) and without the zoom, for example, the HC1 has a sharpness range of up to 1 meter to infinity, as in the JVC is you just have to try this yourself.
As a preview screen, I would recommend you this Marshall.

What do you lack a V-Mount Battery would be a voltage source of 10 to 17 volts.

Thanks for the reply only once.
The JVC has a sharpness control as synonymous with a blue border, which is synonymous pretty reliable.
I wanted to) monitor as a Directing monitor use (working with cinematographer. Do you know someone else, or even larger (8 ") cheap alternatives?
I have not found that:

Thus
I just found after a while, the Page of Marshall:

German Dealers are synonymous certainly somewhere on the page to see whom it was not for Fima Teltec in Germany the right Ansprechpatner.

Otherwise come to mind spontaneously, only the tiny 9-inch CRT monitors of Sony (PVM9045) one or JVC.

So this blue peaking function, which works perfectly - so should be no extra control monitor may be necessary.

That surprised me have already asked several HC1 owners. So it is completely hidden in the instructions on Page 25 bottom right.

You press the button "EXPANDED FOCUS" in the "TAPE" mode. Now appears on the screen right below the press box with the word "SET" on this and now you can turn off the peaking (edge enhancement) on or off.
It is important to make even the "FOCUS" to "MANUAL", so you can adjust the sharpness synonymous.

Or in situations where you just can not construct a control monitor.

The cameramen at the Vienna Opera Ball was probably no amateurs ...

Yes, the question remains. Do we need an HDV-capable monitor or control it would be synonymous, an SD-capable to do? HD would only be because of the sharpness control (and since I do not even know how much you would actually see).
For normal image control, it would indeed synonymous a normal (especially affordable! Do) monitor.
Perhaps there is more JVC GY-HD100 users here who want time to do their experiences Kund? I would be very grateful! The images we shoot are actually relatively static, with a moderator who runs around a bit - but very slowly ...
