Hello!
I voted yesterday of his mates a few MiniDV tapes from the last holiday get with the request to the PC to play. He can no longer say with what the camera has been made, it was probably purchased in the U.S. (NTSC ?)...
The tapes lasssen both his SonyHC7 as synonymous to my HC40 with Picture and Sound play. (no HD material)
But with the import usmovie maker, premiere CS4 and various other programs, there is neither sound nor picture. We have tried various settings (PAL NTSC, etc.), brings everything nix!
Is there something more often if you try to import foreign tapes and there are remedies?

You Importierst via FireWire or an analog video card that brings its own software?

Hello!
completely normal over firewire, and if I take my own tapes synonymous everything works properly, the camera is detected correctly, etc.
When my buddy just the same, he has just given it to me in the hope that it s.seinem computer is non-existent!
