When I make a film normally burn on a CD, he's not playing on the DVD player / TV. Whereas it would appear no audio file.
Also, I can burn any DVD with the Movie Maker.

Hi,
So as much as I know, always convert movie maker movies to wmv format. This format may not recognize many dvd players and not play so. The common format for dvd-players mpg or is mpg2. Thus in order to watch your movies on the tv to be able to, you need to get you an encoder from the internet, with which you, the wmv. can convert files to mpg. (there are many, useful freeware versions)
after burn only with a burning software (Nero etc) on cd

The intermediate step via WMV format will export the movie out and leave me out of the Movie Maker as DV-AVI. Otherwise, it is compressed twice) (= loss of quality: It was not until then as WMV and MPEG2. ;-)

Hello, erstmall thanks for the contributions.
With Movie Maker I created a small test movie, WMV File / 2,72 MB.
Danch film, the following Recommendation of Mark as a DV-AVI saved.
It certainly had the size to 211 MB! increased. S.PC When playing the movie will only play the sound stopped.
Whether the film (DV-AVI) with the DVD player abgespiet s.TV can, I can not currently test (unit is time to defect)
Will try it in the nights and days at a friend notify me Danch again.
Probably it is better advised of the WMV files, such as Rainer with an encoder to convert to MPG.
It would be nice if someone could give me a tip which is freeware version s.besten suitable.

DV-AVI is the same format, which is a MiniDV - Digital8 stores or camcorder to tape. If this format is reproduced only with hum, something is wrong. With what attitude you have transferred the images on your PC?

The DV-AVI format with a DVD player can play as little as the WMV format (at least less likely to DVD Player WMV) video playback. Burn your movie as a DVD video (MPEG-2 format), then you can play it in DVD player.

Movie Maker, no. In Nero, there are versions with MPEG2 encoder and DVD authoring components, and there are versions without. In the former, it works.
