Of the functions since I feel myself the Canon HF100 and HV20/30 as equivalent. - No audio level meter

The SR11 can be in portrait mode select, so that Aperture is always possible, so wide open and shutter seem shorter - but you hold no direct control and provides synonymous until the playback, which parameters the camera used. You lay tape to take it on, wind it back, play it in real time while s.and transmit it via firewire / ilink to PC (AVCHD: AVCHD transfer files faster than real time, converted into Intermediate Codec longer than real time, eg the 3x (Depends of course very strong PC-ab))
