Infoseite // Cabling for live video mix

Frage von amused:

Hello,

The following starting points:
I do at an event with a video show projected on 2 screens left and right of the stage. Available to me 2 mini DV cams, an analog 3-channel video mixer, a laptop and projector with 2x canvas.
The projector is located approximately 30m from the mixing room, a camera is directly s.Mischerplatz and the second on the stage. Now it is a question of the wiring.

- How do I s.Besten bridge over the 30m, which cable is suitable for s.ehesten? I may even need a signal amplifier?
- How do I distribute the signal to the projector (such as splitters are there any?)
- Can I get a Tonmulticore (length using 30m) when I use the yellow RCA Male to XLR adapter bring friends? Speak the Bühnencam on multicore send to the mixer and the output from the mixer via multicore s.The Beamer? Or are there problems with the signal?

Who can help me?

Antwort von PowerMac:

So the sound s.Besten symmetrically transferred!
No cinch!
Possibly video via Firewire.
Firewire or SDI would be definitely better than analog lines ...

Since you do not have a digital mixer, hard.

Was with me exactly the same task in our last year's annual general meeting.

2 x DV Cams (1 x mini-tripod on dolly and 1x cam on Steadycam)
2 Beam / 2 screens

Composite - Video of the `s Cam Analogmischer for each 25m high over coaxial cable (bundled with the cam` s power supply (power supply)).
From Analogmischer (Blaupunkt DVM 1000) to the Beamer `s depending on 10m high quality coaxial cable. The mixer has 2 Paralellausgänge, the projector, both received their signal.

However, with Sound Radio Micro `s Hall on the plant. From there, next to the audio input of the mixer, because a supply a VCR for recording.

Must say the video - the quality was on the VCR or projector `s actually quite good, although only CVBS signals.

S.sich sound is not a problem, the camera sound is irrelevant because the stage sound is specially blended and I simply give the audio outputs from the laptop into the big mixing console. It's just about the eigenlich Picture transmission. Electricity for the cameras come from the external power supply, the cams are fixed, ie no Positionswechel.

In the event that I accept coaxial cables, as sufficient, a simple adapter BNC or RCA because I need a converter?

The video cable (was unkonfektioniert red), so the meter. Based on company Bürklin. The meter price is about EUR 0.45 / m. If interested, I can tell you the order tomorrow. Since the mixer has BNC connectors, this was aufgescrimpt on a Page of the cable. On the other Page RCA connectors soldered to the recording of the AV cables that accompany the Cam's. Parallel with and Lassoband every few inches s.Videokabel fixed "speaker cables" (2x1, 5mm ²), for the power supplies of the Cam `s. or the power supplies.

Since you have Fix_Cam's, sometimes not even need "cable tray", which in this case is essential when a moving cam. Because Exposed, freely moving cables are pure captive acrobats.

We were 5 people. S.den Cam 2x2's and a s.der picture directing.

Hello,
I do sowas always synonymous with composite video cables. The quality ranges from () to 50 no problem. I would use but not the sound multicore for video, but take your own cable, or you use a 2.4 GHz radio link. I copy video amplifier macheen from 1 video signal 6th Sailor synonymous what I should make a signal 2, which is sufficient for thee.
If you still have questions, let me know.
