I am currently looking for a camcorder.
Must-have is a video in for an external lens
basically because there is already the question: Mini DV or HDD
For the HDD, I hold myself the question whether there are not problems with the Height (3000 to 4000 m above sea level)
Can anyone recommend a stable device?
HDV would not be bad, because the Cam not only for the flies to be used.
Price limit is as at 1000 max 1100 Euro

hv 20, I can only recommend to you. low weight, flat design, that is ideal for mounting a helmet. the auto focus and you can disable to make manual (infinite) and your shots are always sharp.

But the HV 20 provides really good, they are synonymous if I currently can not even test (right-hand broken)
