Hello
I have a SonyDCR-PC3E Camera (miniDV). I would now like to transfer the recorded videos on my laptop.
Therefore, I have a 4-pin Firewire cable connected s.The Camera (DV out on it stands, but has an "iLink" Signet (iLink) means to me in Sony Firewire language.
Then connected with laptop. Nothing happens. Windows XP SP2 on it. Googling. Patch that is installed here so often mentioned in the forum, rebooted, still went nothing. Am this morning and tuned s.verzweifeln nigh.
Someone any idea?

Ah, yes read several times and of course, synonymous tried. Windows did not even recognize that I have infected the Cam ... If absolutely nothing.

Yes, try s.zwei PCs. One of them even without SP2, synonymous with one another on Ubuntu. No response.
Cable is nigelnagelneu, the Firewire port has never been used s.Laptop
