Hello Experts
For some time now recognizes my Power Mac G5 OSX 10.4.8, together with Final Cut Pro 5.1.2. SonyMV600i my camcorder via firewire port no longer works.
Also be the external HD then begin to flash.
In Loggfenster of Final Cut Pro is VTR ok, preview disabled.
So it is nothing more. Have other camcorder on the same system, everything ran fine.
Where is the dog buried?
Would be very grateful if I use the handy little camera not again have to dispose of.

We had the same problem with a little Canon.
There was the firewire output (the connector housing s.Camera) defective.
If it is under warranty and no improper treatment
exists, should not be a problem. It depends of the
Grace of the Sony-Services.
