I have just built a camera crane. It is really perfect. (Of course manual!) A schwenkweite of 2,0-6 meters. Is very funny. But (!) I now have no ropes or so that I can move the camera while driving ... Is that bad? What about the professional cranes (ABC camera crane, etc.) that work well without an engine? And if I move the camera and leave out, make a very solid camera, so only moves the crane, which is then eingroßer loss or bad?
Love Greetings Constantin

if you want to see how the cranes of abc-function products, then you may be able to help the two films http://www.abc-products.de/ ...
What a shame when your crane is, is that the camera shoots only in the direction in which the "boom" shows ... da wirds difficulty of filming on the top floor to. what you can do but if you want the camera does not necessarily control manual, the camera plate by means of ball joint and leave a counterweight as steadycam work. the camera always in a horizontal position is ... Steadycam the way you can build you see here http://www.hobbythek.de/dyn/16602.phtml
I hope you could help a little bit Greeting Paule

Here is also another idea, how the camera can be held horizontally:
So long story short Paule, I've already tuned front and a movable head, I can only set once, then nich mehr! So I can completely synonymous, the camera clockwise, although the boom is pointing forward!
Then, with the movable heads that really ne good idea!
The videos I've looked at me, really great!
Unfortunately, I now have another problem with my shots, they've evaluated today and I have noticed is that the images are sometimes blurred. What can I do about it, that they no longer wiggle or so fluid, like those in the video?
I have my crane synonymous built according to the ABC principle. (Only in the head, on which it actually arrives), I'm not really hold great built.
Many dear greetings Constantin
