Hello,
I have a problem with my VX1000.
I got the camera has only few days and because I'm sick, I was thus not yet filmed. But today I wanted some time on tape in the apartment to film, as I then had SonyExellence tape inserted, the camera suddenly started beeping s.zu and a crossed-out Tapesymbol flashes on the monitor. In addition, even an open symbol, which is synonymous to the DVD players, etc. can be found. Only once this is not happening, but after a brief Off / On gings do not.
But when I insert any Panasonic tape gibts no problems.
Can I help next one?

Although I have only ONE SonyTape what does not work, but several Panasonic. The work, yes, but would be happy with Sony tapes filmed.

In this case, you obviously have, as a pack Sony tapes to buy and to taste it. As I said, it can happen that a particular camcorder tape does not like. So I would not have to scold the entire brand.

Since "Fenomen" no longer have been reported, I assume that the problem with the new bands was done. Unfortunately, there was no confirmation on this.
