Frage von Rave:

Hello!

Is a JVC GY DV 5000E with a Canon YH 16x7K12U Optics SonyPD brighter than a 170?

Does she want to use for the use of disco ..

Would that be the right choice?

Antwort von Jan:

This is a bad Comparison, two different classes.

The PD 170 it is pretty much the top model is the superior Semiconsumerklasse, and there is the LowLightkönig is indeed an upgraded top consumer VX 2100th

With the DV 5000 we are in a professional league, it must be remembered is synonymous with the use of the DV 5000 for eg some manual focus only manually. At that time about 10000 ¬ expensive Cam represented the top model of the DV class of JVC, so rather SonyDSR 250 P a rival, less 170th PD

One or the other will still prefer the PD 170 for the nightclub use, more automatic and more compact / lighter than the DV 5000 and still a good noise-free images.

DV 5000 / 5001 is more of a reportage / documentary / news shoulder camera.

Although the large aperture lens of the JVC - Canon here, the IT CCD's, which should have 24-bit signal processing probably an easy game with a consumer synonymous with less light.

The two were synonymous already apart-5000 ¬ with a matching lens, meanwhile the foothills DV 5000 in the same price region.

The gain of 18 DB takes pretty good pictures with less light without excessive noise, for an emergency, they didn't LoLux + 36 DB - but it caused a decrease in Turbo Resolutionund more noise in the JVC.

If there is a new filmmaker with ¬ 3000-4000 budget you would probably recommend the PD 170,) with increased interest in manual functions, universality (MiniDv / DV / DV CAM replay the same drive that value has been cameras - a lot of metal in the DV 5000 installed, although just over 5 kg are to bear, but the PD is 170 a "spring", then the spur DV 5000th

Oddly, the disco is in question more often lately ...

To my knowledge, the image quality of the PD170 and the DSR-250 are identical. It work in both cameras, the same optics.

It is again surprising that the amateur Saturn give Seller the answer has to help / to try the rich "pro's - film companies" - the s.and teach me to here, register on the model - that they really need to know -- strangely enough not to speak.

How about the DSR plays 250 in the league, I know not all models of synonymous Semi class.

The PD 170 is very popular, that one hears often, their lowlight quality is outstanding in the class. Gain even went to the Sonynoch more (63 DB - or how many warn it?) Is the question of how noisy the Picture in Comparison to DV 5000 looks like.

I know of only one of the models and therefore can not make a Comparison of light intensity.

The PD170 amplifies the signal up to 18 dB, the DSR-250 I know it does not synonymous.

Antwort von Bernd E.:

The DSR-250 is largely of one inner VX2000/PD150, so synonymous, they can enhance up to 18 dB.
