Infoseite // Camera shots from helicopter

Frage von Torstencamera:

Hi,

has anyone of you experience with Camera helicopter flights?
I turn as a freelancer for television and will / may the beginning of 2009 from his first heli shoot.

There will be a Filmheli with a Tyler mount his (camera hanging at the side displayed.) Shooting with Digibeta.

I know how something looks, but so have never been so rotated. Did someone experience so?
Do what special eighth ... it is so difficult to turn?
I think now is not the Digibeta ;-)

Look forward to a few tips.

Since I hang me with it, same question for me synonymous. With us, a Cineflex V14HD are, with what costs should be given (including helicopter) per Einsatztag reckon? Is that feasible with 10k?

Antwort von Torstencamera:

So it cost us in the helicopter about 1000 per hour and the Tyler Mount s.Tag to about 250.
Then it still comes out of the Heli s.wo its location. The flight back to the shooting and that it cost as much per hour.
However, I would only fly with one pilot, the camera is usual flights.
He sees the camera Cockipt your signal and then flies accordingly. This can be an expensive pleasure, because if the pilot is not experienced.

If you have never have done (with the door open "on the runner" and are in turn), then this could cost a lot to learn. Tyler mount goes, but it is really outdated. Fast and spectacular maneuvers are only feasible with a Flir.

Not for the job "to deduct more mature, but as good advice: We do so was 3-4 times a month. Have appropriate contacts Helis, a reasonable Flir operator and of course, quite cheap prices. For a first time, I offer to you that we do the job "together" and you'll make a good practical introduction to engineering, aviation, etc. can get. Luftasufnahmen When it comes to good appointments and an experienced team of director, Flir operator or cameraman and one (of course air thumbnails) to pilots. Everything else is like burning money! The assessment of whether or not flown (weather, views, sun, low clearances, Ausßenlandeplätze ...) is already a lot of responsibility for the Beginners. Since it is already an experienced team sensible one to two times on the shoulder to look at and perhaps to the departure location and even to practice.

NEWS & ART makes in 15 years Luftbild. We have several films synonymous on the training of helicopter pilots and unusual helicopter operations for the magazine (Video) "Helico" with implements.

The Helifirma and the system (Tyler Mount) are provided to us by the transmitter. Therefore, I can not turn it. Otherwise I would have gladly accepted the offer.

The pilots rotate since tens of years of film and television flights. They have so routine. I myself was often as an assistant film flights here.
Only as a cameraman exporting yet.

But perhaps I can thank you yes times as an assistant to be there a few tips to get.
