Hi All,
Perhaps now, like one or the other to fold the hands over his head - I still have "never used" to an external monitor, and actually I had to solve before it via HDMI to the 5D - but stayed with my Camera (Made in Poland) a 7 inch TFT and while this only has an AV port on the back, and a USB jack and antenna - now the vllt. embarrassing question = Is it possible to feed the signal via AV Out of the Canon 5D to the monitor? There is this synonymous cable length 5m + and then comes to have enough signal? Such cables are commonly synonymous with Media Markt & Co? What to look for the cables?

The matter has m. W. a hook, because the analog monitor signal is gone as soon as the camera records.

Purchase you an adapter / converter that can convert HDMI into an analog signal. A favorable product would be as http://www.hdfury.com/ - is definitely cheaper than a 7 "monitor with HDMI input, which then can only SD anyway Resolutiondarstellen. just as I said the monitor has only one antenna connector, AV connector and USB - unfortunately - and I would have to look closely at the office again, but then think it was! However, the option with the adapter really a good thing, thank you

Many of the small monitors still have a VGA input (D-SUB 15 times) - so at least our own. Since this adapter was supposed to go well for that.

When using the analog AV output s.der 5D, only the sound is turned off during recording. The video output remains as active as the HDMI output. The monitor is also usable.
Normal RCA / composite cable used in the length surely not a problem for small and get Money.
Since when have you been for the crane? That one there has a video cable to do it is now, but nothing really unusual.

Now I have it but in fact this never used to monitor hinbekommen schrotten today - after I wanted to bring this back to the office, he fell down the stairs, the display is broken - great movies!

I will think not about the next purchase of Marshall & Co., having applied only SD anyway so I'll get a cheap monitor for the similar series, then to 100 ¬ satisfying for me in any case, its purpose.

All professional camera viewfinder for the SD standard have synonymous "only" composite. The signal is enhanced through the viewfinder and therefore better for the sharpness control (which then comes) is still peaking, but what is pure is only CVBS. Nevertheless, it would be nice hdmi connect via an HD preview monitor? If you must shoot a lot ists a great thing.
Rethinking the with the cheapies do it again, and lend you time from a good (cheap) HD monitor, then wait and see :-)
