Hi folks,
s.Samstag came my Raynox HD 5050 Pro, which I yesterday in the same spectacular sunset times have tried. What should I say, it does not seem quite the yellow from the egg to be. Everything is perfectly centered, but at the edges, the picture is no longer so sharp. Yes, ne, already clear, is only a WW-converter, but am just surprised but of quality.
Has anyone the WD-H37C, what is there because the picture quality? Would gladly pay the extra cost when it's actually some advantage there.

I own movies with the WD-H37 of Canon. I was part of South America in my last vacation for 6 weeks continuously at the camera.
I am with the quality of very satisfied and would buy the lens again. If I have HD movies is the additional price for me in order.

I have the Raynox HD5050 (0.5 x) and the Raynox HD6600 (0.66 x).
After which I previously had HAMA of stuff I am with the price-performance ratio of Raynox very satisfied.
But I must honestly say that the HD6600 produces significantly less distortion than the HD5050.
On the rising edge of the blur out of two.
Nor should you with the converters on Zoom refrain.
(Even if the converter fully durchzoombar "should be)
The image quality suffers significantly.
The 0.5 x only when recording without zoom and without swing.
The 0,66 x synonymous only conditionally suitable.

I have the synonymous Canon WD-H37 and am very satisfied. Overall, one loses very little light and image quality - only at full zoom are a little more color out.
The Raynox HD 5050, however, shows in full Angletatsächlich more wide field of view, but to the outside edge with significant distortion. Also, I have to color the impression that the Lens worse than that of Canon is. Thus, often times changing a lens announced to the respective situation.

Yes, thank you thank you for answers ere. I now have the WD-H36II besstelt, I'm curious. The Raynox is back, I have exactly the same problems (so synonymous is the same product:
- Slight color bleeding when zooming
- Huge distortions

Hello again,
So my first experience with the WD-H37II.
The WW-Converter is an entirely different league than the Raynox. First, of course, has not synonymous, the same data, but the differences in quality are definitely huge!
Zooming with the Raynox was a dubious pleasure, because even in the small Picture zoom was smooth. I did the same with the Canon converter tested - in between worlds! Now I can synonymous imagine what Jürgen Hock has said above, the WW-Converter simply leave it.
The small extra cost of approximately ¬ 50 is in any case justified. That there is no snap lids and no lens thread, there is just so. What good is a lens thread, if the picture is still bad?
From me, then a full purchase recommendation, in conjunction with the Canon HF-100.

when the opportunity comes with a 6060 that I had synonymous. He gave me a pre-HD7 JVC JG served very good and I must agree that distortions there were never an issue. The 5050 on the other hand, rather something like a bottom. Especially in comparison to WD H37II, each in combination with the HF-100.
My experience with the 6060 were synonymous crucial for the purchase of the 5050th .. Incidentally, the 6060 is so synonymous in the price range of the Canon WD-H37II, which gives a further notice. Quality is just not at a bargain price.
